We Paint Gold Coast is a growing painting and decorating company servicing residential, commercial and high-end construction projects across the Gold Coast.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced, driven and commercially minded person to join our team and assist with the next stage of growth within the business.

This is not a rigid, predefined position.

We are open to meeting candidates from a range of trade, construction, project management and operations backgrounds. The position — including responsibilities and remuneration — will be shaped around the skills, experience and value the successful candidate can bring to We Paint Gold Coast.

This would particularly suit someone who has previously worked as a trade Project Manager, Construction Administrator, Trade Manager, Estimator, Operations Coordinator or similar, and is looking for an opportunity to become an important part of a growing trade business.

The Role

Depending on your experience and skill set, responsibilities may include:

General business and project administration

Managing jobs through our job management system, Tradify

Working with Xero and assisting with job and financial administration

Coordinating projects, schedules, trades, clients and suppliers

Communicating with builders, contractors and clients

Following up enquiries, leads and outstanding quotations

Proactively reaching out to builders, property managers, developers and potential clients to generate current work

Attending client meetings and site visits

Assisting with estimating and preparing quotations

Reading construction drawings, plans and specifications

Completing painting take-offs and quoting from plans, where experienced

Assisting with tender submissions and new project opportunities

Supporting management with the day-to-day operation of the business

Identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiency and profitability





Assisting with marketing and business development where this forms part of your skill set

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, practical and proactive and who understands how a trade or construction business operates.

Experience with Tradify or another job management platform is highly regarded, along with a working knowledge of Xero.

A background in painting and decorating would be extremely valuable, although candidates from other construction and trade industries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience in any of the following would also be highly regarded:

Project or construction management

Trade business management

Painting and decorating

Estimating and quoting

Reading construction plans

Quantity take-offs

Builder/client relationship management

Sales and business development

Marketing within the construction or trade industry

Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on experience, capability and the responsibilities of the position we ultimately create around the successful candidate.
