WRS Waste Truck Driver Operator/ Street Litter Council Contract

MR-HR Driver for street litter waste contract and rear loader driver position.

Based in North Plympton SA

$39.89 per hour + Overtime + Super. Paid weekly

Perm Casual position 4 days a week

Early Morning starts (3am-12:30pm)

Every third Saturday morning $51.06 per hour

Every fourth Sunday morning $67.01 per hour

Minimum MR Truck license but HR license preferred

About the role

A truck driver role within a waste collection team, requiring an MR or HR license and capability to work early morning starts. More shifts may come available.

Key responsibilities





- Garbage collection of street litter bins. This involves working in a small team undertaking various roles throughout your shift including truck driving, physically bringing bins to the rear loading garbage compactor and emptying these bins using a bin lifter at the rear of the truck then returning bins to the street litter compounds.

About you

- MR or HR license required

- Fit, capable and reliable

- Confident

- Valuable communication skills and ability to work in a positive team environment

- Willing to undertake drug/ alcohol test

- Experience with waste management is an advantage
