Bring your specialist mainframe expertise to a critical banking workplace.

We are seeking an experienced CA Datacom/DB DBA to provide trusted technical guidance and help maintain continuity across a legacy banking estate.

This role suits a Datacom specialist who can work independently, respond quickly when issues arise and serve as a reliable contingency resource when additional expertise is needed.

What you’ll do

- Provide expert administration and support for CA Datacom/DB on IBM z/OS.
- Diagnose complex database issues and advise on performance tuning and resolution.
- Apply your knowledge of Datacom architecture and internals to assess risks and guide technical decisions.
- Support mainframe database migration activities where required.
- Investigate interactions between PL/I applications and Datacom.




- Step in promptly to provide hands-on support during critical incidents.

What you’ll bring

- 10–15 years’ experience as a CA Datacom/DB DBA.
- Deep knowledge of Datacom database administration, architecture and internals.
- Mainframe database migration experience.
- An understanding of PL/I and its interaction with Datacom.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Experience supporting legacy banking systems.
- The ability to operate independently with limited support.
