This is a site-based technical role central to the environmental compliance and performance of the operation. You will take ownership of Environmental Authority (EA) conditions, ensuring the site operates within its approvals and that compliance obligations are understood and met across the business. You will lead the implementation of environmental management plans, embedding them into day-to-day site practice rather than treating them as static documents, and you will manage water reporting and monitoring requirements, ensuring data integrity and timely regulatory submissions. You'll work closely with operations, technical services, and the leadership team to keep environmental performance aligned with the site's growth trajectory, and you'll play a key role supporting the business through its ramp-up phase and beyond.
Key responsibilities

About you
- Relevant degree qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or similar
- Site-based experience in environmental advisory roles within mining or similar resources operations
- Strong working knowledge of EA conditions and regulatory compliance obligations
- Experience implementing and maintaining environmental management plans
- Demonstrated experience in water reporting and monitoring
- Ability to liaise confidently with regulators, operations teams, and site leadership
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement under regulatory scrutiny
