Join our aged care assessment team in Toowoomba and help older people access the support they need to live well. As an Allied Health Practitioner, you'll play an important role in helping older people navigate their care journey and access the services that best meet their needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll combine clinical expertise, professional judgement and genuine care to support positive outcomes for individuals, families and the broader community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering high-quality assessments that help older people access the right care, support and services at the right time.
- Working closely with nurses, allied health colleagues and assessment teams to achieve coordinated, person-centred outcomes.
- Applying clinical expertise to support informed decision-making, particularly in more complex situations.
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives that enhance client experiences, quality standards and team effectiveness.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration or professional membership relevant to Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or Social Work.
- Experience working with older people in aged care,
community care or a related clinical setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study relevant to aged care and/or experience working across diverse community or regional health settings.
