Project Managers – Major Capital Projects

Deliver complex infrastructure projects from concept through to completion

These PM positions provide the opportunity to manage significant capital projects in technically demanding environments. You will take ownership of projects across the complete lifecycle while working with experienced internal teams, contractors and specialist consultants to plan and deliver high-value and strategically important capital works projects.

You will hold a relevant trade, diploma or tertiary qualification and have experience delivering complex infrastructure or capital works projects. A civil or structural engineering qualification, formal project management qualification or relevant qualified registration would be well regarded.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Managing Director, you will manage the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, design review, estimating, procurement, construction oversight, contract administration and project completion.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing infrastructure and capital works projects from concept through to completion.
- Developing project plans, cost estimates, programs and delivery schedules.
- Reviewing drawings, technical specifications and detailed designs.
- Preparing contract documentation and administering construction contracts.




- Managing tender and procurement processes.
- Monitoring project budgets, timeframes, quality, safety, risks and deliverables.
- Preparing clear and accurate project status reports.
- Undertaking feasibility studies and developing risk management strategies.
- Coordinating consultants, contractors, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects comply with relevant legislation, Australian Standards and organisational requirements.

You will bring at least five years’ experience in project management and contract administration within a civil, industrial, commercial construction or infrastructure environment and have:

- Strong capital works and infrastructure delivery experience.
- Practical contract administration and tender management capability.
- Experience reviewing designs against relevant Australian Standards.
- Sound commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Effective project planning, scheduling and risk management capability.
- Strong contractor, consultant and stakeholder management skills.
- Superintendent experience (desirable).
- A current driver’s licence is required.
