About the role:

The Western Health Paediatric Cardiology Service is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cardiac Sonographer to join a busy and growing Paediatric service within the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Building

The Paediatric Cardiology service is part of the Division of Women's & Children's Health and provides inpatient and outpatient Fetal and Paediatric Cardiology services. These services include echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring and exercise stress testing for both outpatient clinics and inpatients in the Paediatric ward and Special Care Nursery.

Key responsibilities:

- Performing and reporting paediatric echocardiography studies, inpatient and outpatient.
- Holter Monitor application and removal.
- Performing ECG's and Supervised Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitor interpretation preferable but not essential.

About you:

- Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound, DMU or QUT equivalent.
- Current ASAR accreditation.
- Experience in Paediatric Cardiac Echocardiography.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing quality care under a Best Care framework.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and professional accountability.
