About the Role:

Join our Perioperative team as an experienced and motivated nurse, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the leadership and development of our nursing team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build on your clinical expertise, contribute to practice improvements, and take an active role in staff development, quality assurance, rostering and unit management. What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria

- Current or eligible Registered Nurse/Midwife registration with NMBA and a current practising certificate.
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience or current Clinical Nurse experience in a perioperative setting.
- Demonstrated competence in perioperative nursing practice and commitment to professional standards.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership skills, with experience supporting less experienced staff and students.
- Ability to prioritise workload, adapt to change and contribute to quality improvement, with participation in an on-call roster.

Desired Criteria

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing, human services or the applicable practice area.
- Strong teamwork, computer and software skills, with a focus on developing staff potential.
- Experience in quality improvement and applying nursing research to practice, with knowledge of the SA Public Health System.
