An internationally recognised, employee-owned architecture and heritage practice is looking for its next Senior Architect to join the Melbourne studio.

The projects you'll work on
You'll be working where Melbourne's most important places meet contemporary use, across cultural, civic, public and institutional projects. The work ranges from conservation and restoration to adaptive reuse and sensitive new works at places of state and local heritage significance.

What you'll do

- Lead design and delivery from feasibility through to contract administration
- Build Revit models of existing buildings from measured surveys and point cloud data
- Use Revit phasing to show existing,



demolished and new work clearly
- Create and manage Revit families for heritage elements such as joinery, cornices and windows
- Coordinate federated models with structural, services and specialist consultants
- Uphold BIM standards, templates and execution plans
- Prepare documentation for Heritage Victoria permits and planning applications
- Mentor junior architects and graduates

What you'll bring

- Registration as an architect in Victoria (or eligibility to register promptly)
- 8+ years' experience, including heritage, conservation or existing-building projects
- Advanced Revit skills: worksharing, phasing, families and model management
- Point cloud / laser scan workflow experience (highly regarded)
- Strong technical documentation and knowledge of traditional construction
- Understanding of the Burra Charter and Victorian heritage frameworks
- Contract administration experience on public or cultural projects (a plus)
