The Integration Developer will design, build, test and support secure, scalable and reusable integration solutions that connect departmental applications, platforms and external services.

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Design, develop, test, deploy and support API-led and event-driven integration solutions that enable secure and scalable communication between departmental applications, platforms and external services.

- Implement integration solutions using cloud-native services, messaging technologies and event-driven patterns to support business transformation initiatives, platform modernisation and service delivery outcomes.

- Collaborate with architects, technical leads,



developers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into high quality integration and digital solutions.

- Apply up-to-date engineering and AI delivery practices, including AI enabled software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, automated testing and platform engineering standards that support secure, scalable and reliable service delivery.

- Support the adoption of modern engineering practices, including microservices and event-driven architecture, API first design, platform engineering and reusable integration patterns.

- Contribute to knowledge transfer and capability uplift by mentoring team members, sharing reusable approaches and supporting continuous improvement.
