Foot Locker is looking for our next Associate Buyer. A commercially minded, product-obsessed professional ready to help shape sneaker and sports culture across ANZ.

Working closely with the Buying team across multiple categories, you'll support the end-to-end buying lifecycle, deliver commercially successful assortments, partner with global brands, and contribute to key category decisions. There will be genuine opportunities to progressively take ownership of a category and accelerate your growth in a global business!

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Support the delivery of category strategies across multiple categories while owning selected programs and initiatives.

- Execute assortments, pricing, and product flow decisions to support sales and margin performance.

- Assist with seasonal assortment planning, range reviews, and range sign-off activities.

- Manage key aspects of the product lifecycle, including sample coordination, product setup, and critical path management.

- Ensure product, pricing, and system information is accurate and ready for trade.

- Analyse sales, inventory, and trading performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve category performance.

- Build strong relationships with suppliers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders.

- Monitor competitor activity,



consumer trends, and emerging opportunities to help shape compelling assortments.

What You’ll Bring:

- 3-5 years' experience in Buying, Merchandise Planning, Category Management, or similar retail function.

- Experience supporting multiple categories within a retail environment will be highly regarded.

- Strong Excel proficiency, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial insights and actions.

- Solid understanding of key retail metrics, including sales, margin, and stock productivity.

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A proactive, curious, and commercially driven mindset with a passion for product and retail.
