That's what the word means, and it's how we operate. Since 2017 VERVE Fitness has fitted out thousands of commercial gyms and home setups across Australia. We're profitable, we're targeting $150M within four years, and we run marketing deliberately lean: a Google agency, Klaviyo, an Ecommerce Manager, Digital Marketing Manager a Performance Creative Lead shooting in-house, a Marketing Coordinator, and a fleet of AI marketing agents that do the production grind.

The role — and the challenge





You report to the CEO and own the entire marketing function: the number, the budget, the channels, a small team you'll help build, and the agent fleet that scales you. Hands-on operator, not slide decks.

You'll own:

- Revenue, ROAS and CAC against budget, reviewed weekly

- Paid across Meta and Google, and our B2B lead engine — the highest-leverage dollar in the business

- Email and lifecycle (Klaviyo): from ~5% of online sales to 15% by mid-2027

- The AI agent fleet, and hiring the next roles beneath you

- US marketing set-up as we expand

The challenge: this is a big seat in a lean team. Nobody above you owns marketing. If the number moves, that's you.

You'll fit if you have

- 4–6 years in D2C or considered-purchase marketing, owning a revenue number

- Hands-on depth in at least two of: Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify/CRO, SEO

- Run a budget in the hundreds of thousands against ROAS and CAC targets

- Led people and/or agencies for 2+ years, and a bias to ship over deck

- Comfort using AI as leverage. We run on it
