Sales with real purpose
Imagine not being able to eat solid food, and then imagine sitting down to a meal that looks great, tastes great and lets you eat alongside everyone else. That's what Hubfoods does. They specialise in texture modified foods so people who can't eat solid food can still dine with dignity.
We partner with Hubfoods to grow their reach, and we're looking for someone to own that relationship. Every account you grow means more people enjoying a proper meal.

So what's the role?
You'll look after Hubfoods end users across your region(s), mostly by phone and email. You'll build relationships, find new opportunities, and help end users get the right products for the people they care for. It's a sales role with targets, but it's also a people role, and we care just as much about how you sell as how much you sell.

The hours
This is a part-time role of 22.8 hours per week. We'd prefer those hours spread across 4 or 5 days. Hubfoods' end users are busiest early in the day, so you'll need to be available to work mornings.
It's also a hybrid role. You'll work from our Parramatta office at least one day a week and from home the rest of the time.

What your week might look like

- Being the friendly, reliable go-to person for Hubfoods end users in your region
- Checking in with end users regularly and running business reviews to make sure they're getting what they need
- Planning and running your own sales approach to hit (and beat) your targets
- Spotting new business opportunities and following them up
- Working to Hubfoods' route-to-market strategy
- Keeping an eye on the industry, competitors and end user feedback, and using what you learn
- Digging into your sales numbers to see what's working and what could be better
- Teaming up with our internal crew to make sure everything runs smoothly




- Representing us at virtual industry events and online networking sessions

Who we're looking for
First and foremost, someone with genuine compassion and empathy. Many of Hubfoods' end users support people living with swallowing difficulties, so you'll need to understand that behind every order is someone who deserves a good meal. You'll listen carefully, be patient, and put people ahead of the quick sale.
We also need someone with hospitality experience, either front of house or back of house. You'll know how a kitchen runs, what matters to the people feeding others every day, and how to talk food with confidence.
You'll also bring:

- Solid verbal communication skills. You'll spend most of your day on the phone, so you'll need to speak clearly, confidently and warmly, and adjust your style to suit whoever's on the other end
- A great phone manner, and the ability to build trust quickly and keep it
- A drive to hit targets and a love of seeing results
- Comfort with numbers and using data to decide where to focus
- Strong organisation, so you can keep a busy portfolio on track
- Availability to work mornings, ideally across 4 or 5 days
- Bonus points for experience in aged care, healthcare, disability services, foodservice or FMCG
