ABOUT THE ROLE

Fly for a living. The Drone Pilot delivers external facade and window cleaning using advanced drone technology for a national specialist services business, operating to CASA regulations with quality equipment and a safety-first operation. You are a drone pilot first, but drones are not always in the air: when weather grounds them, you contribute on the ground with window cleaning, pressure washing and other works. Works run across our national contracts, so some regional and interstate travel is required. In return we invest in you, with structured upskilling into EWP operations, drone inspections, data capture and recent applications as our drone division grows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate cleaning drones safely and efficiently in accordance with CASA regulations and company procedures

- Deliver external window, facade and roof cleaning using drone and manual methods (water-fed poles, pressure cleaning)

- Complete daily WHS pre-starts, risk assessments and site reports, and fly to plan every time

- Be the key contact for clients on site: updates through the day, minor issue resolution, walkthroughs and sign-off

- Maintain drones, tethers and cleaning attachments in safe working condition

- Contribute on the ground when drones cannot fly: window cleaning, pressure washing and periodical works

- Upskill into EWP operations, drone inspections, data capture and new drone applications





- Leave every site clean, safe and compliant, with records completed before you go

ABOUT YOU

- Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)

- Experience operating drones in commercial or industrial settings

- Current driver licence

- WHS awareness and experience with pre-starts or risk documentation

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights

- Willing to work on the ground when drones are not flying, keen to upskill (EWP operations and more), and available for some regional and interstate travel

- Familiarity with water-fed poles and pressure cleaners well regarded
