About the role

NT Scaffolds is a local scaffolding company that has been providing reliable scaffolding services throughout the NT and Top End of Australia for over 20 years. As we continue to grow and expand our services we are seeking experienced and qualified MR, HR and HC Drivers to join our Darwin-based team.

Our drivers deliver and collect scaffold material to and from job sites across the NT and Top End of Australia. We are seeking drivers with at least 5 years of demonstrated truck driving experience, a safe driving record and a commitment to safe driving. The successful applicant will have a forklift licence and will be proficient in loading and unloading trucks, with knowledge of correct load restraint procedures. Once scaffold material is returned to our central facility in Winnellie, it will be sorted, stacked correctly and re-entered into the inventory. Our drivers must follow all safety, compliance and load restraint procedures. With vehicle safety as the priority, drivers must complete all prestart and maintenance documentation requirements. Mechanically minded individuals who are able to assist in basic fleet maintenance will be considered favourably.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have;

Current MR, HR or HC licence, forklift licence and white card

Demonstrated experience in transport and logistics

A safe driving record

Ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)

Sound understanding of load restraint requirements (essential)

Strong commitment to safety

Ability to complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A reliable work ethic and qualified presentation

Full Australian work rights with no restrictions

Ability to successfully complete any required medicals, drug and alcohol screening and criminal history checks

Pay rate will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications
