The Position:

An exciting chance to join our expanding Security Division has arisen. This full-time permanent position offers the chance to be at the forefront of the security, electrification & electrical technology revolution and play a pivotal role in shaping Australia's push to an Electrical 4.0 future.

Responsibilities:

As a Security Technician at ASG, your responsibilities will include:

- Install, maintain, and service electronic security systems, including CCTV surveillance systems, and access control systems

- Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and system testing

- Conduct regular system checks and preventative maintenance

- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, building plans, and technical documents

- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

- A keen interest in technology and innovation





- Proficient computer skills

- Valid Australian driver's license

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to safety and quality

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

- Open Cabling Registration with a Structured Cabling endorsement

- Construction White Card

- Current Asbestos Awareness & Working with Asbestos Containing Materials Certification

- Current Silica Awareness Certification

- Must be an Australian Citizen and be able to hold a Baseline security clearance

- A current ACT 2E Security Employee Licence is preferred. Applicants who are eligible and willing to obtain the appropriate ACT licence will also be considered

- An EWP licence and Working at Heights certification are desirable but not essential

- A National Police Check will be required prior to commencement
