About the role:
You will work on a range of complex class actions and group litigation matters.
Your role will include:
- Working on large-scale commercial class actions, including shareholder disputes, financial services litigation, misleading and deceptive conduct claims and breaches of contract.
- Drafting court documents, including pleadings, evidence, affidavits, subpoenas.
- Legal research into novel aspects of the law.
- Working closely with counsel, experts, and litigation funders.
- Assisting with discovery, investigations and factual analysis.
- Liaising with clients and group members.
- Supporting the progression of complex matters through the litigation process.
The ideal candidate:
- 2-4+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation.
- Class actions experience is highly regarded.
- You will be able to work autonomously across all aspects of litigation, with partner oversight as appropriate.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and file management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a busy team setting.
