The Armidale SerVies Club is looking for a Duty Manager with exceptional customer service skills and a flexible approach to their roster to join the team and lead the staff. There will be plenty of opportunity to further develop your skills and build your knowledge within this full time role.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring the provision of exceptional customer service to our members and their guests
- Manage the on goings of the Club, including overseeing Bar, Bistro, Cafe and Gaming Services.
- Leading and coordinating staff in a motivating, efficient and effective manner
- Cash handling tasks and responsibilities
- Oversee the cleanliness of the Club facilities.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Possess sound supervisory experience or have management experience within the Hospitality industry preferred
- Be RSA & RCG certified
- Be well groomed and professional
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be able to make confident decisions
- Be responsible, level-headed and focused on getting the job done
- Demonstrate initiative to problem solving
- Be able to address positive or negative performance when necessary
- Take a hands-on approach and lead by example
- Understand, deliver and enforce policies and procedures
- Possess knowledge and experience in gaming, beverage, food service, Keno and TAB
- Possess experience in cash handling
