H&S; Advisor | 300+ Unit Residential Project

A genuinely strong opportunity for an experienced H&S; Advisor to join one of Sydney’s most established privately owned builder, working on a major 300+ apartment residential project.

This is a well-resourced project, where you will work closely with and report into an experienced Senior H&S; Manager, rather than being left to manage the entire safety function on your own.

The Role

You will take an active role across site safety and environmental compliance, including:

- Reviewing and approving SWMS, SDS, JSA and environmental documentation

- Managing staff inductions and contractor onboarding through Hammertec

- Conducting regular site safety and environmental inspections

- Identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are closed out

- Assisting with incident investigations and reporting

- Maintaining safety documentation, risk assessments and incident registers

- Monitoring waste management, pollution control and environmental requirements

- Working closely with subcontractors, Site Managers and the wider project team

- Driving a positive and proactive safety culture across site

This is a hands-on site role. They want someone who enjoys being out on the project, speaking with trades and working collaboratively with the construction team.

What They Are Looking For

- Minimum 3 years’ experience within construction safety / WHS in a similar role.

- Diploma, Cert IV or relevant qualification in WHS / OHS

- Residential or major commercial construction experience preferred





- Hammertec experience would be highly regarded

- Strong understanding of SWMS, risk assessments and subcontractor compliance

- Confident dealing with trades and subcontractors

- Strong communication skills

- Practical and solutions-focused approach to safety

- Someone who can build relationships rather than simply police the site

- Must have experience working in Australia,
