Working Cleaning Supervisor

Milton / Ulladulla & North Shoalhaven

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8 Hours Per Day

Pacific Facility Services is seeking an experienced, reliable and hands-on Working Cleaning Supervisor to support our expanding operations across the Milton, Ulladulla and North Shoalhaven region.

Pacific provides cleaning and facility services across a number of operating health sites throughout the region. Due to the expansion of our local operations, we are seeking a Working Supervisor who is comfortable combining hands-on commercial cleaning with travelling between sites, quality inspections, stock and equipment management, digital reporting and day-to-day support of our cleaning teams.

This is not a solely supervisory or administrative position. The successful applicant must be willing and able to undertake commercial cleaning duties as an integral part of their normal working day.

Typical Working Day

The position will generally involve an 8-hour working day, Monday to Friday, incorporating:

- Approximately 2 hours of hands-on cleaning between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at a site within the Milton/Ulladulla region.

- Travelling between approximately 5–7 separate operating locations across the North Shoalhaven region.

- Delivering and collecting cleaning chemicals, consumables, equipment and other supplies between sites.

- Undertaking scheduled cleaning quality inspections and identifying areas requiring corrective action.

- Completing formal digital site inspection and quality reports, including photographs, observations and follow-up actions.

- Liaising with cleaners and assisting with day-to-day operational issues across the sites.

- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring sites have the equipment, chemicals and consumables required to maintain service delivery.

- Completing approximately 3 hours of hands-on commercial cleaning in Ulladulla as part of the daily roster.

- Following up identified cleaning deficiencies and assisting employees in maintaining the required cleaning standards.

The role therefore requires someone who enjoys being hands-on and mobile throughout the working day, rather than remaining at one location.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:





- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.

- Be competent and confident driving a manual vehicle.

- Be willing and able to travel between multiple sites throughout the Milton, Ulladulla and North Shoalhaven region each working day.

- Have demonstrated commercial cleaning experience.

- Be willing and capable of undertaking approximately 5 hours of hands-on commercial cleaning as part of the normal daily role.

- Be reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.

- Be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory National Police Check, as required for work within client health environments.

- Have a practical understanding of commercial cleaning procedures, including colour-coded cleaning systems and contamination-control practices.

- Understand and be capable of following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS), chemical handling instructions and workplace safety procedures.

- Be comfortable safely transporting and handling commercial cleaning products, chemicals, consumables and cleaning equipment as part of the role.

- Be competent using smartphones/tablets and digital reporting systems.

- Have practical computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and be capable of preparing clear written inspection reports and emails.

- Have sufficient written and verbal communication skills to communicate professionally with employees, management and client representatives.

- Be capable of identifying cleaning deficiencies, documenting them accurately and following corrective actions through to completion.

- Be available to attend Pacific's Sydney office approximately one day per month in person for operational meetings, training, administration and management coordination.

The following experience would be advantageous:

- Previous cleaning experience within healthcare, hospitals, medical facilities, aged care or other controlled environments.

- Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor, leading hand or team leader.

- Experience conducting formal cleaning quality inspections or site audits.

- Experience training or mentoring cleaning employees.

- Knowledge of infection control and cross-contamination prevention.

- Experience managing cleaning stock, chemicals and equipment across multiple locations.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Experience responding to client requests and coordinating corrective cleaning activities.

About the Role

This position is suited to an experienced commercial cleaner who is ready to take on additional responsibility while remaining actively involved in day-to-day cleaning operations.

The successful applicant will need to manage their working day effectively, move between multiple sites, complete cleaning shifts, conduct inspections, support cleaners and ensure operational requirements are followed through.

The role requires a person who is dependable, organised, practical and comfortable taking responsibility for cleaning standards across multiple operating locations.

Because the position involves regular travel between sites, applicants should be comfortable spending a significant portion of their working day travelling within the region and moving cleaning supplies and equipment between locations.
