Spare Parts / Service Advisor – Mt Pritchard Automotive

Brief Description

Mt Pritchard Automotive is looking for an experienced Spare Parts / Service Advisor to join our busy team. You'll be the link between our customers and the workshop — sourcing the right parts, quoting jobs accurately, and keeping customers informed every step of the way. This is a great chance for someone with strong automotive knowledge, great communication skills, and a passion for customer service to join a growing multi-service auto shop specializing in European vehicles, 4WDs, Utes and Auto Electrical.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, order and manage spare parts for jobs across servicing, repairs, tires, auto electrical and 4WD work

- Liaise with parts suppliers to get competitive pricing and timely delivery

- Prepare accurate quotes for customers in a timely manner

- Communicate with customers about required repairs, parts availability and job progress

- Liaise with the workshop controller and mechanics to keep jobs moving and parts on hand when needed

- Complete invoices with clear notes on work and parts used

- Cross-sell relevant services, wear items, tires and wheel alignments where appropriate





- Maintain accurate stock records and help manage parts inventory

- Provide correct pricing information to customers over the phone when required

- Ensure all jobs are logged with proper notes and documentation

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in Spare Parts / Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace and manage multiple tasks.

- Basic knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs.

- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.

- Valid driver's license (preferred).
