We’re currently working with a highly regarded luxury custom home builder who is looking to bring an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter into their team.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming custom homes across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches, this is a great chance for someone who enjoys working on high-quality builds and wants to be part of projects where attention to detail really matters.

The projects are anything but your standard residential builds as you’ll be working on architecturally designed homes ranging from $10M through to $40M+, alongside a team that takes real pride in craftsmanship and delivering exceptional finishes.

The Role
This is a hands-on Leading Hand position where you’ll be working on the tools while helping guide the site team and keeping things running smoothly.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Leading and supporting carpenters, apprentices and subcontractors on site
- Carrying out high-quality carpentry works and detailed finishes
- Setting out works and working from architectural drawings and plans
- Coordinating with trades to keep the build moving efficiently
- Helping solve construction issues and detail challenges as they arise
- Maintaining high standards across quality, safety and site presentation
- Being a key part of delivering some of Sydney’s most impressive residential projects

About You




You’ll ideally be someone who has experience working on high-end residential projects and enjoys being involved in the details.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Experience as a Leading Hand Carpenter or senior carpenter
- A background working on luxury custom homes or architecturally designed builds
- Strong carpentry skills and solid set-out ability
- Good understanding of construction drawings and building processes
- The ability to lead by example and communicate well with the team
- A genuine pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems on site
- Carpentry qualification, White Card and NSW Driver Licence
