Hays Trades & Labour is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing Canberra-based trade services provider. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to establish and lead a residential electrical division. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to transition into a senior leadership role while remaining closely connected to the industry.

Your New Role
As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing residential electrical team while overseeing the growth and success of the division. Your duties will include:

- Building, leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices
- Establishing systems and processes for a growing electrical department
- Providing technical advice and operational support when required
- Reviewing quotes, job reports and completed works
- Assisting with scheduling and resource planning
- Visiting sites to resolve technical issues and support field staff
- Developing team capability and driving performance
- Building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service
- Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and professionalism

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Extensive experience within residential electrical services
- Previous leadership, management or business-building experience
- Strong ability to mentor and develop tradespeople and apprentices
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Commitment to delivering quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction
