We are seeking an organised Medical Secretary to support a Specialist Doctor and help patients feel informed and cared for throughout their treatment journey.

This role combines specialist practice administration with patient coordination. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for patients while working closely with doctors and nurses to keep appointments, communication and treatment preparations running smoothly.

This role will be based in Sydney's CBD.

What you’ll do

- Manage appointments, patient enquiries and day-to-day administration for an allocated Specialist.

- Welcome patients and guide them through registration and pre-treatment requirements.

- Coordinate communication between patients and clinical teams.

- Maintain accurate patient records, consent documentation and correspondence.

- Resolve scheduling or administrative issues promptly, escalating concerns when needed.

- Handle sensitive conversations with empathy, discretion and professionalism.

What you’ll bring





You’ll have strong administration and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy workplace. You’ll be confident communicating with a wide range of people and committed to making every patient interaction supportive and respectful.

Experience in a medical practice or allied health setting would be highly regarded, as would familiarity with patient management systems. Candidates from other patient facing or service focused environments are also encouraged to apply.
