What if we could use AI to understand a distressed company faster, identify issues hidden across thousands of records, or give clients clearer answers with less manual work? At Avior, we want an Analyst or Senior Analyst who will ask those questions, test the possibilities and turn useful ideas into reliable ways of working.

This role combines hands-on AI development with live restructuring and finance work. You will take ownership of finding opportunities to improve how we analyse information, prepare work and collaborate. We need someone who has already built a working AI-based solution and can take a new idea from prototype to a dependable tool or workflow. You will work with experienced practitioners to define the problem, build and test a solution, and help the team adopt it. You will also contribute to client matters and support colleagues as priorities change.

Avior Consulting is a boutique restructuring advisory firm helping businesses and their stakeholders navigate financial difficulty. Our work includes turnaround advice, financial analysis, voluntary administrations, liquidations and other restructuring assignments. Avior Capital Partners is a related business with experience providing asset-backed finance to companies in challenging circumstances.

We are a small team working on varied, often complex matters. You will have direct access to senior practitioners, the freedom to suggest better ways of working and the responsibility to follow promising ideas through.

What you will do

· Look for tasks and decisions that AI could improve across restructuring, insolvency and finance workflows, then prioritise ideas with the team.

· Build and test AI-based tools, agents or automations that perform defined tasks,



such as organising records, extracting and checking information, financial analysis, drafting, reporting and knowledge retrieval.

· Turn successful experiments into repeatable workflows: document the steps, train colleagues, gather feedback and refine how the team uses them.

· Check AI outputs against source material and professional requirements. Use sound judgment about accuracy, confidentiality and when a person needs to make the decision.

· Analyse financial information and business records, and support advisory assignments and formal insolvency appointments, including investigations, information requests and stakeholder reporting.

· Work independently on agreed projects while contributing to other matters and helping colleagues when priorities shift.

What you will bring

· A university degree with a finance or computer science influence, such as accounting, finance, commerce, economics, information systems or computer science.

· Essential: you have personally developed at least one working AI-based agent, application, automation or repeatable workflow that does more than respond to a one-off prompt. This may have been built with code, low-code or no-code tools. You can explain what you built, your own contribution, how it works and how you tested it. Using a chatbot or writing prompts alone does not meet this requirement.





· The curiosity to ask “What if ...?”, the initiative to experiment and the persistence to make a useful idea work in practice.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and confidence learning new digital tools.

· Analytical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to explain technical or financial findings in plain language.

· The ability to progress work independently, collaborate with colleagues and adapt to a dynamic workload.

Experience in restructuring, insolvency or lending would be useful, particularly at Senior Analyst level, but is not essential. We will train the successful candidate in the restructuring and finance aspects of the role and support relevant professional development. Coding experience is welcome, but no particular programming language is required.

How we work

The position is full-time and based in our West Leederville office. Occasional working from home can be accommodated, although regular office attendance is important for collaborating on live matters and learning from the team.

You will have scope to influence how Avior adopts AI. We expect you to test ideas thoughtfully, share what works, be candid about limitations and help colleagues use new approaches with confidence.
