Tired of being stuck fixing tickets on systems you have no real say over? This role hands you genuine ownership technical and strategic of the applications that keep a professional services organisation running, working directly with senior stakeholders, to shape how the business operates.

Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong reputation in its field. Sitting within the infrastructure team, this role takes end-to-end ownership of client-facing applications and portals, acting as the technical product owner for these platforms - balancing stability and governance with a clear roadmap for improvement and automation.

Responsibilities include:

- Owning the technical performance, stability and integrity of client-facing applications and portals, acting as the primary escalation point for system issues
- Operating as technical product owner for key business applications - defining roadmaps, prioritising enhancements, and translating business needs into delivery backlogs
- Partnering closely with business stakeholders, to align system capability with operational priorities
- Identifying and leading business process automation initiatives, using tools such as Power Automate and Logic Apps to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- Overseeing integrations and APIs between core systems, linking between legacy and modern platforms
- Assessing the current environment to determine what needs to be built,



changed or implemented, and leading that work through to delivery
- Managing databases and SQL to support reliable reporting and data integrity across systems
- Ensuring applications operate within the organisation's governance, security and audit requirements
- Coordinating with vendors and delivery partners on system changes, upgrades and enhancements with minimal business disruption
- Providing direction and prioritisation across initiatives, influencing stakeholders and delivery teams toward outcomes that maximise business value and adoption

Experience needed:

- Proven experience owning business-critical applications in a technical product owner or similar capacity
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Logic Apps, SQL, APIs and integration/middleware concepts
- Scripting ability to support automation and system enhancements
- Experience balancing governance, risk and compliance requirements with delivery of system improvements
- Vendor management experience, including coordinating delivery partners on upgrades and enhancements
- A track record of translating business process into scalable, technology-enabled solutions
- Strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable operating at a senior stakeholder level
