We're looking for a practical, people-focused IT support person to join us part time, supporting construction companies across their offices and project sites. You'll be the first point of contact when something isn't working, and the person who gets recent starters set up and productive from day one. It's a hands-on role that mixes helpdesk work with getting out on site, so no two weeks look the same.

Key responsibilities

Set up, configure and deploy laptops, desktops, phones and peripherals for current and existing staff, including imaging and enrolling devices into Microsoft Intune

Handle day-to-day Microsoft 365 administration such as creating and disabling user accounts, resetting passwords and MFA, managing licences, and maintaining shared mailboxes, distribution lists and Teams

Respond to and resolve level 1 helpdesk tickets by phone, email and remote support tools such as TeamViewer, escalating more complex issues when needed

Troubleshoot common hardware, software, printer and connectivity problems

Provide in-person support at head office and on construction sites, including site office setups, printers,



Wi-Fi and device issues

Run staff onboarding and offboarding, including device handover, account setup and returning equipment

Keep asset registers, tickets and basic documentation up to date

About you

A working understanding of computers, Windows, Microsoft 365 and basic networking

Previous IT support or helpdesk experience is highly regarded, but we're open to applicants early in their career who are keen to learn

A friendly, patient approach when explaining technical issues to non-technical users

Organised and reliable, able to manage your own workload and follow tasks through to completion

Comfortable travelling to construction sites, with a current driver's licence and access to a vehicle (White Card is a bonus, or we can help you get one)

Onsite with some work from home

Hands-on training in Microsoft 365, Intune and modern device management

Exposure to IT in the construction industry across a range of businesses
