Despatch and Receivals Clerk reporting to the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend typical despatch responsibilities with in-depth involvement in packing shed operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the logistics and daily packing shed operation.

Key responsibilities

- Count, weigh or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Examine, unpack and label incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
- Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage area
- Regularly enter inventory data into tracking database/software on a timely basis
- Perform regular material audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly
- Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing the tracking database/software
- Verify,



track & process the return of returnable items such as pallets and crates to ensure costs are minimised

About you

- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Despatch and Receivals Clerk
- Basic understanding of unloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials
- Demonstrated ability to manage time so that all matters are dealt with according to plans and timelines
- Basic understanding in Outlook and Microsoft Excel
