About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking reliable and customer-focused Waste Depot Attendants to join our client's team in Nowra.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable interacting with members of the public. You will play an significant role in helping the depot operate safely, efficiently and in a clean and organised manner.

This is local work in the Shoalhaven, with opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist members of the public using the waste depot
- Provide clear and friendly directions regarding waste disposal
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe depot environment




- Monitor waste disposal areas and keep the site organised
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with general manual handling and labouring duties as required
- Work effectively as part of a team

About You

- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Is comfortable working outdoors in a waste depot environment
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Is confident interacting with members of the public
- Can follow safety procedures and site instructions
- Is physically capable of completing general labouring duties
- Can work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence preferred
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a medical and/or drug & alcohol testing
