Tiny Treasures Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis . Based in Corindi Beach, NSW 2456 , this role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their formative years. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment where children can develop academically, socially, emotionally and physically. This position is essential to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and care that supports each child's individual growth and development.
What you'll be doing
Planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and experiences that align with early childhood education frameworks and curricula
Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration, curiosity and creativity
Observing and assessing children's progress and development, and maintaining detailed records to inform future learning strategies
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, and maintaining open communication with parents about their child's learning and wellbeing
Supporting children's physical development, health and hygiene needs, including meals, rest time and toileting
Encouraging children's independence,
confidence and social skills through play-based learning and guided activities
Collaborating with other educators to ensure consistency of care and learning across the preschool
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-resourced learning environment that meets health and safety standards
Promoting positive behaviour management and emotional regulation in young children
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
Current Working with Children Check (NSW) clearance or ability to obtain one
Current First Aid and CPR certification for infants and children, or willingness to obtain it
Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks, including the National Quality Framework and Australian Curriculum
Genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
Solid organisational and planning abilities, with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm, patient and flexible in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of inclusive practices and commitment to supporting children with diverse needs and backgrounds
Physical capability to engage in active play and support children's physical care needs
