Australian Unity is hiring permanent part time home care support workers across the Inverell, Warialda and Tingha area of northern New South Wales, helping people over 65 stay living in their own homes. The pay is published on the advert, and it comes with a kilometre allowance and paid travel time, which is unusual for this kind of work. The two things that filter people out are a driver's licence with your own car, and three months of paid aged care experience.

Requirements

- Live across the Inverell area including Ashford, Auburn Vale, Brodies Plain, Bundarra, Delungra, Gilgai, Long Plain, Rob Roy, Stanborough, Tingha, Warialda and surrounding communities
- Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international licences or shared vehicles)




- Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
- Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month required)
- Commitment to the paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start

The role offers
