Turner Freeman Lawyers is a national law firm specialising in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

We have an exciting prospect available in ourCanberra office for a part-time Paralegal . This role will be supporting the team in the area of Personal Injury with a focus primarily on Institutional Abuse matters.

The ideal candidate will currently be in theirthirdor fourth year of their law degree and ideally have previous experience working as either a legal assistant or paralegal in personal injury. The role will require you to work a minimum of3 to 4 days per week.

Excellent mentoring, training and support is provided, together with the opportunity to progress at the conclusion of your degree.

ABOUT THE JOB

- Drafting and collating legal documents;
- Drafting legal correspondence;




- Preparing chronologies and summaries;
- Preparation of statements;
- Liaising with clients, medical and legal professionals and other government bodies;
- File and document management;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Youmust be in your third or fourth year of your law degree;
- A bright and enthusiastic law student who has a passion for helping people;
- Previous experience in personal injury is essential;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Great attention to detail;
- A hard working, focused attitude.
