Opportunity

Lindsay Australia's 2027 Apprenticeship Program is now open! We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Coffs Harbour and start a rewarding career as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprentice. This is your opportunity to learn from experienced technicians, work on a modern fleet, and gain the skills needed to become a qualified tradesperson. You'll get hands-on experience with leading brands including Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, and BPW, while learning everything from routine servicing and preventative maintenance through to diagnostics, repairs, and breakdown support. What You’ll Be Doing

- Assist with servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
- Support breakdown and accident repairs when required.
- Work with modern workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology.
- Complete maintenance and repair documentation.
- Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean work environment.
- Attend TAFE and workplace training as part of your apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking for

- Have a genuine interest in trucks, engines, mechanics, or heavy vehicles.
- Enjoy working with your hands and figuring out how things work.




- Want a practical career with plenty of variety.
- Are motivated to learn and committed to completing your apprenticeship.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Have completed, or are currently completing, Year 10 or higher.
- Understand the importance of workplace health and safety.
