What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be:

- Planning and developing personalised leisure activitiesthat reflect residents' preferences and needs.
- Providing guidance to residents and their families,ensuring the best possible support for their lifestylechoices.
- Ensuring a varied and inclusive program that accommodatesall levels of ability and encourages participation.
- Promoting social and physical engagement, helping residentsmaintain optimal function and independence.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoingquality improvements and staff development.

What You Bring to the Role

We’re looking for someone who has:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging & Disability)or Certificate IV in Aging Support or equivalent qualification(Certificate IV in Leisure and Health) - essential
- Extensive experience in a Lifestyle or Diversional Therapyrole, particularly within aged care.
- A sound understanding of the needs and preferences ofelderly residents, including cognitive decline and physicaldisabilities.
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
