Our client delivers hands-on tree planting projects across the CBD and surrounding areas. Their teams put trees, shrubs, and seedlings into the ground to build greener, healthier public spaces. The work is practical, physical, and finished to a high standard every time.

The Role

We're hiring reliable people for short-term Tree Planter projects. Each project runs for 1 or 2 days and requires a team of 8. You'll work outdoors, follow clear planting specifications, and help the team hit its daily targets.

This is ideal work if you want flexible, well-organised days without a long-term commitment.

All sites are located in the CBD and nearby areas, so getting to work including using public transport is fairly straightforward.

What You’ll Do

- Plant trees, shrubs, and seedlings according to project specifications





- Operate and maintain planting tools and equipment safely and correctly

- Lay jute matting and install tree guards

- Work as part of a team to meet daily planting targets

- Follow all site instructions and safety guidelines closely

What You’ll Need

- A robust work ethic and a team-first attitude

- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather

- Reliability and punctuality

- Proof of Australian Work Rights

- No prior experience is required

- Full task instructions, training & supervision is provided

- Hourly casual pay rate of $33.85 (inclusive of loading) + super

Location & Schedule

All projects are based in the CBD and surrounding areas, with easy public transport access. Shifts run for the full project day. Because these are short-term projects, you'll know your dates in advance and can commit to the days that suit you.
