About The Opportunity

NSW Health Pathology is seeking dedicated and collaborative Medical Laboratory Assistants to join our Central Specimen Reception team at Nepean Hospital. As part of a diverse and supportive team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the timely processing of specimens that support critical diagnostic and patient care services across the health system. This recruitment is being used to establish an eligibility list (eList) for future vacancies and may be used to fill temporary and permanent opportunities across full-time, part-time and casual employment types. What You'll Be Doing

Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform pathology specimen reception duties including receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
