Programmed is looking for multiple Chef and Catering Assistants to join a leading Airline catering service based in Mascot, Sydney.

Catering Assistant - Make N Pack Department

Shift : Afternoon shift 3pm - 11pm, payrate : $40.2 p/h

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

- Portioning and packaging meals according to specifications.
- Measuring quantities of food items according to specifications.
- Ensure all food items are properly handled, stored, and labeled
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

- Full Australian working rights without hours limit
- Able to pass drug and alcohol medical check
- Ability to follow and adhere to processes.
- Some experience in food preparation and handling.
- Available to work a 5-day roster (including public holidays, weekends, and morning or afternoon shifts)
- Able to work in fast paced enviroment

Shift: Morning shift 7am - 3pm, Payrate: $36.93 p/h for AM shift

Afternoon shift 2pm -10pm, Payrate: $42.33 p/h for PM shift

- Your duties include but are not limited to the following:




- Cook large batches of hot meals using industrial equipment like multi-functional boilers, following strict airline specs and schedules
- Follow HACCP guidelines, monitor food and fridge temperatures, and keep the work area clean
- Dish assembling, fruit portioning, cheese cutting, garnish prep

Requirement

- For Chef role, must have min Certificate III in commercial cookery
- Require previous knife handling experience in kitchen
- Able to pass Medical Check
- Experience in bulk cooking enviroment will be highly regarded
- Available to work a 5-day roster (including public holidays, weekends, and morning or afternoon shifts).
- Full Australian working rights without hours limit
