An opportunity exists to join the Cardiac Interventional Unit team at Campbelltown as an Operations Assistant (OA) on a full-time temporary contract for 6 months. The Operations Assistant is responsible for duties including:

- Assisting with procedure room turnover and cleaning.
- Transportation of patients to and from procedural labs
- Keeping stock rooms tidy and stock unpacked
- General duties to assist the CCL team in maintaining patient turnover in procedural rooms with minimal downtime.

- Has previous experience in a CCL/or operating suite or hospital setting

Selection Criteria

please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Previous experience in one or more areas of this role – preferably working with people in a care setting, undertaking cleaning duties, manual handling and/or providing general assistance in a health or aged care setting.
- Good communication skills in English - both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively across a multi-disciplinary work environment upholding the CORE principles of the organisation.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, supporting others and taking directions from supervisors or other staff as appropriate.

Willingness to work within an operating theatre environment, around surgical procedures, as part of the broader care Team, with the ability to effectively demonstrate problem solving, time management and prioritisation skills in a Multidisciplinary Surgical work environment.
