We’re looking for a People and Culture Specialistjoin our team in Brunswick. You’ll support our recruitment, maintain accurate records and help ensure our services meet NDIS and organisational requirements.

The Role

As a People and Culture Specialist, you’ll support the day-to-day HR needs of Hikma House.

You’ll work with managers and staff across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, performance, training and workforce compliance.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that combines human resources, staff communication, workforce coordination and compliance support. We’re looking for a team player with previous experience working in an office environment.

Requirements

- Qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
- At least two years’ experience in an HR or People and Culture role
- Previous experience working in an office environment




- Knowledge of employment legislation and relevant Awards
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Explicit written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proactive and team-focused
- Experience using ShiftCare, ELMO or similar systems
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and compliance requirements
- Experience working within disability or community services (highly regarded)
