5 Star Timber is seeking a Driver/Storeperson to join our dynamic warehouse and logistics team on a part-time basis . Based in Ravenhall, VIC 3023 , this role is essential to our operations, combining driving responsibilities with storehouse duties to ensure efficient distribution and inventory management. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of service delivery whilst managing our warehouse operations and fleet movements.

What you'll be doing

- Operating company vehicles to deliver timber products and materials to customers across the region, ensuring safe and timely deliveries
- Performing pre-delivery vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Loading and unloading vehicles with timber products, ensuring cargo is secured and protected appropriately
- Receiving and processing incoming inventory, checking items against delivery documentation for accuracy
- Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring stock is stored correctly and is easily accessible
- Picking and packing orders in accordance with customer requirements and warehouse procedures
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as required and in line with safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements, deliveries and stock levels using warehouse management systems
- Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping, cleanliness and organisation to maintain a safe working environment
- Supporting the warehouse team to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations consistently

What we're looking for

- A current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience driving commercial vehicles
- Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution Centre or similar storage environment




- Competency in operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (current license or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly, including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when recording inventory and processing orders
- A commitment to workplace health and safety procedures and practices
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow instructions from supervisory staff
- Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to adapt to part-time scheduling requirements
- Experience with inventory management systems or logistics software is desirable
