About the role

As a Cadet Civil Drafter, you’ll support our design team in delivering accurate drawings and practical project outcomes while working towards your engineering qualification.

Day to day

- Prepare and update drawings using industry software such as AutoCAD and 12d
- Turn mark-ups from engineers into clear, accurate plans
- Assist with design development and documentation
- Work alongside engineers and drafters to meet project timeframes
- Stay organised with project files, notes and documentation
- Get involved in the day-to-day running of the office and team

What we’re looking for

Must have

- Recently completed Year 12
- Genuine interest in civil engineering or drafting
- Willingness to study towards an associate degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Reliable, organised and comfortable taking direction

Nice to have

- Any exposure to AutoCAD or similar software
- Part-time or work experience in a technical or office workplace
