Direct Scaffold Supplies is seeking a Truck Driver to join our transport operations team. This is a casual position based in Archerfield QLD 4108. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, ensuring that our scaffold supplies and materials are delivered safely and on time to our customers across the region. This position is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for reliable service delivery and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Operating heavy vehicles to transport scaffold supplies and materials to customer sites

Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedule requirements

Conducting pre-delivery vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance concerns

Loading and unloading scaffold materials and equipment, ensuring proper securing and compliance with weight distribution regulations

Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and keeping records of routes, times, and customer interactions

Following all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company driving policies

Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status and any issues

Maintaining a qualified demeanour and representing Direct Scaffold Supplies positively to customers

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles operated and Forklift Ticket

A current National Police Clearance and a clean driving history demonstrating safe driving practices





Proven experience as a truck driver in road transport or logistics, ideally within the construction or materials supply industry

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, load securing requirements, and vehicle maintenance basics

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members

Physical fitness and capability to assist with loading and unloading materials safely

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to health and safety practices

Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules typical of casual employment
