Experienced Early Childhood Educator | 3 & 4 Year Old Kindergarten

Are you an experienced Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children?

Blackburn Preschool is looking for awarm, engaging and enthusiastic Educator to join our established kindergarten community and work across our3-year-old and 4-year-old programs in 2027 for 19-24 hours per week across 4 days (3 days will be considered).

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves what they do — someone who brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm to every session and who takes pride in creating meaningful experiences for children.

About the role

As an Educator at Blackburn Preschool, you will work alongside our experienced teaching and education team to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

You will:

- Build warm, respectful and trusting relationships with children
- Create engaging, fun and purposeful learning experiences
- Support children to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning
- Work collaboratively with our experienced team of educators and teachers
- Contribute ideas, creativity and enthusiasm to our programs
- Support an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
- Develop positive relationships with our welcoming and engaged kindergarten families
- Work across both our 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten groups

About you

We are looking for an educator who isexperienced, passionate and committed to early childhood education .

You will be someone who:





- Holds a minimumCertificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Has experience working with young children in an early childhood or kindergarten setting
- Is warm, caring, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys being with children
- Is confident engaging children through play, conversation, creativity and hands-on experiences
- Brings energy, fun and a positive attitude to their work
- Understands the importance of supporting each child’s individual needs and development
- Is a team player who enjoys sharing ideas and working collaboratively
- Is reliable, skilled and committed to high-quality early childhood practice
