Freight Link Couriers' is seeking a casual Forklift Operator to join our new team in Cairns. You will play a vital role in the efficient processing and distribution of goods within our busy logistics operation.

What you'll be doing

- Unloading and loading freight securely and safely using correct forklift techniques.
- Assisting with the preparation of freight for dispatch, including labelling and palletising
- Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Loading and delivering small and bulk freight

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a forklifting or warehousing role (non-essential), ideally within the transport and logistics industry
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy items safely
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Reliability and punctuality




- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- A valid forklift license or the willingness to obtain one
- A commitment to upholding safety standards and environmental regulations
- A strong individual who will be sorting tyres when trucks are not to be unloaded
