Join the Catering team at Pindara Private Hospital as a Part-Time Chef, where you will play an important role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals for our patients, staff and visitors.

Working within a supportive and collaborative kitchen team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital kitchen while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and safety.

About You

You are a passionate and reliable Chef who takes pride in preparing quality meals and working as part of a busy team. You bring a strong focus on food safety, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus, recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are prepared to a high standard of quality, taste and presentation
- Assist with food preparation across different areas of the kitchen
- Follow food safety, hygiene and infection prevention procedures at all times
- Ensure appropriate food handling, storage and temperature control practices are maintained
- Assist with stock control, ordering and appropriate storage of food supplies
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and appropriately
- Work collaboratively with Catering team members to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on time
- Support the provision of meals that meet individual patient dietary requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a strong focus on quality and customer service

You Will Also Bring

- Relevant qualifications and a minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen or similar environment




- Sound knowledge of food preparation, food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary requirements accurately
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- A reliable, positive and professional approach to work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and presentation
- Willingness to work a flexibly roster Morning/Afternoon and Weekends
