We are looking for a customer-centric and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the core technical contact for the Australian residential energy storage market (Solar Inverters & Battery Systems). You will provide technical assistance, fault diagnosis, on-site commissioning, and product training for local installers, distributors, and partners, while bridging communication with our overseas R&D; and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and ticketing tools to installers and distributors across Australia. Assist with inverter/battery commissioning, fault diagnosis, and perform field troubleshooting or system commissioning when necessary.
- Issue Resolution & Escalation: Handle customer technical inquiries and field complaints. Perform root cause analysis (RCA), document fault logs, write formal technical reports in English, and drive the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) spare parts process to closure.
- Partner Enablement & Training: Conduct online and face‑to‑face technical training sessions for Australian installation partners. Cover installation standards, commissioning steps, and troubleshooting techniques. Create technical documentation, FAQs, and training guides in English.
- Feedback & Product Optimization: Gather field feedback, product performance data, and local market compliance updates from Australia. Collaborate closely with China‑based R&D; and Quality teams to drive product improvements and feature enhancements.
- Grid Compliance & Project Support: Stay updated on Australian residential storage grid standards. Assist partners with system design evaluations, grid connection queries, and technical support during channel project execution.




- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong technical relationships with local partners and installers. Complete other technical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Recent Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on technical support or field commissioning experience in residential energy storage systems (ESS), PV inverters, or battery systems.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of residential ESS architecture, BMS, and inverter commissioning principles; ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (fluent spoken and written) for conducting technical discussions, writing RCA reports, and delivering training sessions. Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus (for smooth collaboration with China HQ).
- Grid Standards & Certifications: Knowledge of the Australian residential PV/ESS market and relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 4777, AS/NZS 5139, AS/NZS 3000) is preferred. Holding a valid Electrician License or relevant Australian electrical qualifications is a major advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong field troubleshooting capabilities, cross‑cultural communication skills, high resilience under pressure, and willingness to undertake short‑term travel within Australia.
- Mindset: Passionate about the renewable energy industry with a strong service mindset and team‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
