Daoyuan Medical Group is seeking an experienced General Practice Manager to work alongside another Practice Manager in overseeing 3–4 medical centres across Melbourne. The most key focus of this role is GP recruitment and business growth.

Key responsibilities

- Recruit VR and non-VR GPs locally
- Manage doctor onboarding and retention
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple medical centres
- Improve clinic performance, patient numbers and doctor utilisation
- Monitor revenue, expenses and business performance
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
- Develop and introduce new clinic services
- Support expansion of new clinics and business opportunities
- Manage staff, workflows and practice operations




- Strong hands-on experience with Best Practice software

About you

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Practice Manager in Australian general practice
- Strong knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice operations
- Understanding of DPA and overseas doctor recruitment pathways
- Experience or strong knowledge in recruiting overseas-trained doctors / IMGs
- Good understanding of DPA policies, provider number requirements and doctor workforce pathways
- Strong business and financial management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing multiple practices highly regarded
