Clinical Psychologist, Board Approved Supervisor and Group Therapist (Grade 3)

Delmont Private Hospital is an accredited 88 bed private mental health facility providing treatment to patients across General Acute Adult Psychiatry, Substance Use and Addiction, Young Adults and Aged Psychiatry. With an extensive Day Program, Outreach and Consulting Suite, Delmont provides for over 90 Doctors managing a range of mental health disorders.

About The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative individual with specialised leadership skills and experience in the supervision of psychologists as well as evidence-based program development and delivery of group programs in a private psychiatric hospital setting. Previous experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.

- You must be a team player with a positive, flexible and adaptable outlook and have highly developed leadership, planning and group therapy skills.
- You must have excellent time management skills with experience in managing the competing demands of the private sector alongside best clinical outcomes and willingness to work closely with the department manager.
- You will have a vision for excellence, a strong interest in evidence-based program development and enjoy the challenge of providing quality care and service to people with complex mental health issues.

Skills and Experience:

- AHPRA registered Clinical Psychologist, with a minimum 5 years board approved clinical supervisor experience working in an adult mental health setting.




- Demonstrated experience working within a group setting.
- Strong understanding and experience working with adults 18 yrs + and a range of theoretical frameworks, i.e., DBT, Schema, ACT, CBT, MI, Relapse Prevention, Solution Focused and/or Mindfulness.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate evidence–based group interventions.
- A adaptable, innovative, and compassionate approach to working with resistance.

Requirements:
