Principal Project Officer – RTI & Statistical Reporting

Location: Brisbane CBD | Hybrid arrangement 1–2 days in office

Pay: $88.29 – $94.59 p/h + super

Contract: ASAP – June 2027 + potential extension

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Principal Project Officer with RTI/IP experience to lead a key annual statistical reporting project across the Queensland public sector.

You’ll work with government stakeholders to establish RTI and Information Privacy reporting requirements, data collection processes and agency guidance.

A outstanding opportunity for someone who understands the RTI/IP environment and enjoys project delivery, stakeholder engagement and working across government.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business readiness activities for annual RTI/IP statistical reporting.
- Define data requirements, collection processes and reporting formats.
- Work with government agencies and internal stakeholders to build engagement and alignment.
- Coordinate reference groups, project deliverables, risks,



actions and dependencies.
- Prepare high-level briefings, progress updates and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For

- Practical experience working with Queensland RTI and/or Information Privacy legislation.
- Strong project coordination and delivery experience.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Understanding of data collection, statistical reporting and relevant software.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
