Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Keycloak IAM Specialist to play a key role in the design, implementation and enhancement of a distributed authentication platform. Working closely with technical leadership, you will deliver robust Keycloak configurations, authentication services, identity integrations and security controls that support modern enterprise and government environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on identity professional with solid experience across Keycloak, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML and federation technologies who enjoys solving complex authentication and access management challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Design and implement advanced Keycloak configurations supporting OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, SSO and identity brokering.
- Develop and maintain authentication solutions for distributed and multi-environment deployments.
- Integrate external identity sources, including LDAP and federated identity providers.
- Configure token transformation,



claims mapping and access controls to meet application requirements.
- Implement strong authentication patterns including MFA and certificate-based authentication.
- Support configuration-as-code approaches to ensure repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Conduct peer reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot authentication, federation and token-related issues.
- Support security hardening activities including auditing, logging, backup and recovery validation.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions.

Education/Certifications Required

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Industry certifications in Identity and Access Management, Cyber Security or Cloud technologies are highly regarded.

Knowledge/Skills Required

- 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Security Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Keycloak.
- Strong experience implementing OIDC, OAuth2 and/or SAML integrations.
- Experience with identity federation and directory integrations.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols,



SSO and identity lifecycle management.
- Proven troubleshooting skills across authentication flows, federation services and token management.
- Experience working within security-focused and highly regulated environments.
- Current NV2 Security Clearance.
